IMPORTANT NOTE:
Many applications of the Dino-Lite digital microscope require a stand to hold the instrument steady while observing or photographing.  Remember, under magnification, any movements of the Dino-Lite or the specimen are also magnified, making it difficult to capture sharp images. An exception to the use of a stand is when the Dino-Lite is used with the clear cone in direct contact with the subject to steady the unit. Used this way, you are limited to the magnifications for the particular model at contact.

The MS52B is a jointed articulating flex-arm type stand for use with the Dino-Lite hand held digital microscopes.     Medium duty Lab/Industrial Stand for users that require a vertical post stand with rack and pinion focusing.  This stand has a post height of 11.5" and a 6" X 8.5" base, with rubber feet.  This is an excellent solution for microscopy in fixed setups, such as in labs, inspection stations, etc.  The minimum clearance, from the stage plate, to the DinoLite clear cone is 0.00" with a maximum clearance of 9.5".   This allows for a  3.6:1 magnification range.  When using the DinoLite AM413T, the actual field of view at 0.5" elevation is ~0.87", and at 9" elevation the field of view is ~3.1".  These specs are for a zero thickness specimen on the plane of the stage plate and will vary with thicker specimens.

    Special purpose stand for users that require the utmost in stability and precision.  This heavy duty pole stand has rack and pinion focusing and a total travel of 18" travel, including the 6" extension, and large 9" X 12" base. It is an excellent solution for super rigid microscopy in fixed setups, such as in labs, inspection stations, etc.  The minimum clearance, from the stage plate, to the DinoLite clear cone is 0.00" with a maximum clearance of 14".   This allows for a  5:1 magnification range.  When using the DinoLite AM413T, the actual field of view at 0.5" elevation is ~0.87", and at 14" elevation the field of view is ~4.7".  These specs are for a zero thickness specimen on the plane of the stage plate and will vary with thicker specimens.

    Note:  The Dino-Lite carrier can be easily removed and the stand used for macro photography with any standard film or digital camera that has a 1/4 X 20 standard tripod thread mount.
