CLINOZOISITE, QUARTZ
Rancho de Tepueste, near Alamos, Sonora , Mexico
This locality was popular during the 1960-70’s when
Mexico was producing many hundreds of specimens each year, from a wide variety of localities, for the pleasure of the mineral collectors of that time.  Clinozoisite formed radial to fan-like aggregates, each composed of numerous prismatic crystals of bright pink color, in white Quartz matrix.
Specimen size:  2 3/4” wide, 2” tall, and 1 3/8” thick at the base

CHLORARGYRITE (bromian)  = EMBOLITE
Proprietary Mine, Broken Hill , New South Wales , Australia
Beautiful coralloidal aggregates of crystalline Chlorargyrite (Embolite) were once found in abundance in several of the mines at Broken Hill, yet these days they are becoming exceedingly difficult to obtain.  This silver halide mineral is typically waxy in luster, yellowish-tan in color, and the crystals are often indistinctly formed or intergrown into lace-like coralloidal aggregates.  This very good T/N size specimen is composed of a very vuggy matrix, with most of the front and back of the matrix coated with dark yellow-tan color crystalline, secondary Chlorargyrite.  Several small crystal sections and masses of Cerussite are also associated.  F.
Marshall collection.
Specimen size:  1 1/8” tall, 7/8” wide, and 1/2” thick.

EPIDOTE
Pampa Blanca, near Ica, Ica Dept., Peru
Epidote specimens from this relatively recent find have only been on the market for a few years. Based upon the quality and size of the crystals that have begun to show up on the market, this find promises to be one of major importance, on a worldwide basis. The specimen pictured here is a group of many more than 10 very sharp, striated, very lustrous, dark olive greenish-black terminated crystals  without rock matrix.  Specimens from this currently producing locality will undoubtedly be among the unobtainable "old classics" in a few years!!
Overall specimen size: 2" X 1 1/8" X 3/4"

CAVANSITE with STILBITE, HEULANDITE
Wagholi Quarry, near Poona, Maharashtra State, India
The Wagholi Quarry has been worked for many years as a quarry for basalt, which is used for construction purposes.  It is without a doubt the finest locality known, worldwide, for crystallized Cavansite.  For an account of the discovery of the crystallized Cavansite found at this remarkable locality, see the “Mineralogical Record” magazine, Vol. 22, No. 6, Nov-Dec 1991, P. 415-420.   Items A. through C. each have an individual, bright turquoise blue color spheroidal crystal cluster, composed of many intergrown Cavansite crystals.  Item D. has two radiating sprays of Cavansite crystals, resembling three-dimensional asterisks (*).  The Cavansite crystal clusters were deposited upon small shards of basalt breccia, usually associated with one or more individual terminated white Stilbite crystals.  Item C. has no Stilbite crystals associated.  Drusy micro crystals of Heulandite are also present on all specimens, coating the dark colored basalt matrix.
