DIMMITT, CASTRO COUNTY, TEXAS, U.S.A.
At least 21 stones, totaling 13.5 Kg, were found about 1942. The dark chocolate brown-black stone matrix has very small metallic flakes “peppered” throughout. With 10X magnification, one can study the numerous dark veinlets, and very obvious chondrules. Each specimen has an exposure of the fusion crust along one edge of the slice, and both are accompanied by original labels from the American Meteorite Laboratory (Glenn Huss), Denver, Colorado. Pricing is @ $4.00 / gram.
