DIGITAL MICROSCOPE CAMERAS

A new generation of low cost digital microscope camera is now a reality! These cameras are designed for ease of use and are full compatibility with most microscopes and personal computers running current operating systems. Resolutions are available from 0.35 to 5.6 mega pixels. Installation is as easy as removing one of your eyepieces and replacing it with the camera, as the relay lens is built into the camera. For trinocular microscopes a simple phototube adapter may be required if your phototube is not a standard eyepiece size. We can fabricate custom adaptors, at reasonable prices, in our fully equipped machine shop. Please contact us for custom adaptors. These cameras provide live video on your computer, or video projector, to facilitate focusing, positioning of specimen and live demonstrations as well as to capture still and video sequences.
