Have you thought about perhaps photographing your micro minerals or other small specimens?  If you already have a microscope, consider the new generation of EM Series Digital Microscope Cameras.

The following pictures were taken to show the image scale and performance of the EM130-M Digital Microscope Camera.  The microscope used was a B&L StereoZoom 4, a modest instrument.  The lighting was done with a single LED flashlight.  The idea was to show what is possible with a simple instrument and A very minimum of lighting equipment.  No attempt was made to orient the specimen to improve the depth of field.  In other words, this is what a first time user with a minimum of modest equipment may expect in the way of results.  For complete information on the EM130-M and other EM Series Digital Microscope Cameras click here.
