This 3UV lamp (patented) generates bright UV output of longwave, shortwave or midrange in 4, 6 or 8-watt UV tubes. Selection of each wavelength is by an easy turn of the dial located on one end of the housing. The uniquely designed reflector surface mounted behind each tube provides maximum UV for fluorescence applications. The units are lightweight and ergonomically designed for hand or stationary use.

Designed as an economical multi-use lamp for lab, educational and inspection applications as  many materials fluoresce under various wavelengths. Shortwave UV can be used for sterilization applications.
Also and excellent multi-wavelength lamp for use in gem, mineral and lapidary applications.

WARNING

Never look into a UV lamp while it is turned on, as UV sources can injure your eyes.  UV protective glasses should be used when using UV sources, which can cause burning to unprotected eyes and skin.  Do not allow children to use, or play with, any UV source.
